What is a Race Night?
A Race Night is a fully self contained event that will help you raise much needed funds whilst having fun at the same time.
Many of our Race Nights raise at least £1000.00 if you follow our Tried and Tested System.
We have the largest library of Race Night films including Horses, Dogs, Trotting, Afghan Hounds and even our famous Racing Pigs.
Our Package Includes:
- 8 Races
- PA System
- LCD Projector
- Computerised Tote Betting System along with a Professional Compere to oversee your night
The only thing you will need to supply is 2 Tote Ticket Sellers to sell the Betting Tickets.
Before the event we supply you with a Marketing Information Pack to help you promote your event. Within the pack there are Posters, Blank Race Cards, Scratch Cards and the Tri-Cast Cards. If you have never organised a Race Night event we recommend you give us a call as soon as you receive the pack so we can talk you through how to maximise your fundraising efforts.
The majority of your funds will be raised before the night by obtaining sponsorship, selling the horses, and completing our Tri-Cast card.
Before the night you should have raised at least £500.00.
We always recommend Race Nights are family events so your punters don’t need to find Childcare.
What happens on the night?
All our Races have 8 Runners and the audience select which number they think is going to win the race. Only when the betting is closed a Race is chosen at random by a member of the audience.
They’re off and racing cheer on your numbers!
Once the result is known the winners come and collect their winnings and place their bet for the next race.
How is the winning payout calculated?
In short the winning pot of money is shared between the number of winning tickets. For Example; If there is £16.00 in the winning pot and there are 8 winners then each winning ticket will receive £2.00.
The winning pot is determined by the money taken on each race.
We recommend 50% for the nominated charity and 50% used for the winning pot.
Your Compere will discuss this on the night with the organiser.
No special licence or permissions are required to run a Race Night Event.
